Meet Cameron & Chelsea as a couple

We have been married for five years. We met while going to school at Brigham Young University - Idaho, and were married a month after Cameron graduated with his Business Finance degree. We lived in Austin, Texas for the first two years of our marriage. We loved our experiences in Austin. It  is where we built our marital foundation. We learned the value of honesty and open communication. We learned how to make due with what we had, and how to budget our finances. We also learned that it is so important to always have fun together, and to laugh every day. We are always seeking fun and adventure, even in the little things.
We have always known that adoption was going to be our path to finding our children and creating our forever family. It has made us stronger as a couple and individually, while stretching our emotions sometimes further than we knew they could bend. We have had to lean on each other in those hard breaths. We knew that one of the most important things in starting this process was having a strong and stable marriage. We have had wonderful examples love and strength to look up to in our marriage. Cameron's parents just celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary, and Chelsea's parents celebrate 36 years this Fall.

We are now creating our life together in Dallas, Texas. Dallas has been so good to us. We have had another round of challenges that we have to learn how to deal with, but we do it together. Cameron has three of his brothers in the area with their families and also his parents. It has been great living near family and getting closer to our nieces and nephews. We love to spend time with Cameron's side of the family.

Meet Chelsea

Hi! I'm Chelsea.

I am so excited to meet you!! Let me tell you a little about myself...

I'm a southern girl who loves my family, God, and chocolate.
I love Cameron. He is the other half of my heart.
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm a southern girl through and through, and you can tell it in my heart.
I am the youngest of 3 children. I have an older brother and sister.
My Mom and sister are my two best friends (besides Cameron, of course). They keep me grounded. I don't think a day goes by when we don't speak.
I love strawberries, ice cream, and Dr. Pepper.
The beach is my favorite place to be.
I am determined and I know how to work hard.
I love crafting, sewing, cooking, baking, you name it! Creating something from nothing is my stress relief.
I adore my nieces and nephews. They bring me so much joy and happiness. I love being an aunt. Between both sides of our family, we have 16 nieces and nephews!
I love being outside and being active. When Cameron and I first got married he taught me how to play golf. We try to play any chance we get. It has brought us so much closer as a couple.
I love eating healthy and exercising.
I love clean sheets. If I could, I would have clean sheets every night before I went to bed.
I always keep chap stick stashed throughout the house. You never know when you're going to need it! (Burt's Bee's nourishing lip balm is my current obsession.)
I love having fresh flowers in the home in the spring time.
I love lazy Sunday's with Cameron, and Sunday strolls through our neighborhood.
Baseball is my favorite sport. I grew up watching it with my dad, and he taught me all about the sport. Atlanta Braves are my favorite team, and a close second are the Texas Rangers!
I love long road trips with Cameron.
I adore pearls and pink Converses.

Meet Cameron

Hi. I'm Cameron.

I am the 5th of 6 boys.
I am competitive in everything I do.
I grew up playing any and every sport. My favorite were hockey and baseball. Now I mainly play golf and tennis. Any chance I get I am out on the golf course, it is very relaxing for me and is a great way to relieve stress.
I love Chelsea. She is my better half. She's pretty awesome.
I love working with numbers and Excel.
I figure things out on my own such as working on cars and fixing things in the house.
I love building things.
I grew up with tons of Legos. Even to this day Chelsea and I build a winter village out of Legos every Christmas. We buy a new set every year to add to it.
I like Dr. Pepper, my favorite candy bar is Butterfinger and my favorite snack is popcorn.
I love music and sound quality. I don't care for brands but I spend a lot of time researching and figuring out the best quality speaker, wiring, and other hardware needed to achieve the optimum sound quality.
I don't think it is possible to read enough. I read newspapers and business journals every morning. I always try and keep a book close by so I can read during my down time.
I prefer spending as much time as I can outside. Whether it is riding horses, playing sports or just laying by the pool with a good book.
I have recently taken up running, and plan to run my second half marathon soon with Chelsea.
I know it sounds weird, but I enjoy mowing the lawn and taking care of other landscaping projects.
I follow sports teams, but most of the time I play catch up and read the news as opposed to watching every game. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy watching sports, but I sometimes think it can be too much time wasted. So I mainly only watch my favorite teams play, like the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, the Dallas Stars, and the Texas Rangers.
Each of my brothers and I have our Eagle Scout merit badge and I continue to be involved with scouts as a leader.
I love camping and roughing it outside.
I am a born and raised Texan, so I love shooting guns.
I love the water, whether it is a beach, lake or a swimming pool. I could spend all day swimming.
I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kiev, Ukraine. I learned to speak Russian fluently, and even minored in it at college.
